This book deals with oral narratives of children in order to reveal the possible differences between learners who had received extended foreign language instruction through CLIL in their primary school education in the International School St.Pölten (INS) and learners who went through traditional Austrian primary school EFL instruction. The paper presents theoretical background, an introduction to the concept of CLIL in Europe and its supposed benefits, as well as the results of an empirical study conducted in an Austrian secondary school.
