About the author

Clara Viebig, geb. am 17.7.1860 in Trier, gestorben am 31.7.1952 in Berlin. Seit 1897, als mit den Novellen 'Kinder der Eifel' und dem Roman 'Rheinlandstöchter' ihre ersten Bücher erschienen, hat Clara Viebig die Aufmerksamkeit eines breiten Lesepublikums geweckt und mit immer neuen Werken über Jahrzehnte erhalten. Viele ihrer Romane und Erzählungen spielen im Rheinland und in der Eifel.
