Little Explorers is a new first-information series for curious youngsters. With sturdy flaps to lift on every page, little ones can have hands-on fun discovering the amazing world we live in. My Amazing Body is a lively introduction to the human body, where children can lift the flaps to find out what goes on under their skin. Young readers will be amazed as they find out how the brain works, what happens to a mouthful of food, how fast our fingernails grow, and what breathing is all about.

About the author

Summary

With sturdy flaps to lift on every page, little ones can have hands-on fun discovering the amazing world we live in. My Amazing Body is a lively introduction to the human body, where children can lift the flaps to find out what goes on under their skin.

Foreword

Look inside your body, with over 60 flaps to lift!

Additional text

This is an exceptional book that had my children (aged 3 and 4) gripped. The illustrations are great and the lifting of flaps really helps to engage the reader. Content has been well thought out and is pitched at the right level, the organs and various functions of the body are explained carefully and with just enough detail so as not to overwhelm little ones and lose their interest. As neuroscientists ourselves, we were very impressed with the section on the brain. We will doubtless refer back to this book again and again.
