Dr Anderson has published eleven books including A History of Aerodynamics (Cambridge, 1999). He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, an Honorary Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
