About the author










James Beckerman, M.D. is the Medical Director of the Center for Prevention and Wellness at the Providence Heart and Vascular Institute and the Founder of Play Smart Youth Heart Screenings. He graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Medical School and trained at Massachusetts General Hospital and Stanford Hospital and Clinics. He lives and runs in Portland, Oregon.
