Most crucial step to fabricate biosensor is selection of appropriate immobilization matrix, wherein the biomolecule immobilize in a desired confirmation to retain higher biological activity results in improved sensing parameters. Keeping this in view, we have fabricated organic-inorganic hybrid nanocomposite system to immobilize antibodies to detect octratoxin-A with enhanced sensing properties. These nanosurfaces provide a favorable friendly microenvironment for the oriented immobilization of antibodies and also helps to improve the electron transport between electrolyte and electrode resulting in high sensitivity and low detection limit.
