Since the creation of the United Nations there have only been five permanent members in the Security Council. It has been many decades since and in today's modern world it is necessary to make changes in order to move forward. There have been many proposals in order to reform the Security Council's permanent membership, but they all take the same approach and have yet to be generally accepted. This book will address the League of Nation's inability to prevent World War II, which at its end would bring the creation of the United Nations and the Security Council. After reviewing several Security Council membership reforms, the author will expose his own view on the topic and a brand new proposal to this issue.
