Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is considered as growth engine for India. Concept of SEZ came in India in the year 2000. Earlier SEZ was administered by Foreign Trade Policy and from 2006 it has been covered under the special act called Special Economic Zone Act, 2005. Present work is an outcome of the Master's Dissertation submitted for M. Phil (Law) degree. In the present book I have discussed the overall picture of Special Economic Zones in India. What are the positive and negative aspects of the SEZ in India. What is the present scenario of SEZ in India.
