The author assesses co-operation among states as a means to which issues confronting states globally can be effectively managed with emphasis on ozone depletion and climate change. She uses the concepts of Multilateralism and International regimes as the framework within which global consensus and agreement such as the Kyoto Protocol can best serve as a stop gap measure in the absence of a central authority within the current International System.

Edwina holds an MA in International Affairs from the Legon Center for International Affairs & Diplomacy(Ghana) and is currently pursuing an MA in Political Science at the University of Toledo. She is also a Research Intern with the Sierra Club, Ohio Chapter (USA).
