Microsatellite are the section of DNA in which a short sequence of nucleotide is repeated multiple time. This form of genetic destablization is associated with defective DNA mismatch repair functions. This works examine MSI in cancer Gallbladder, Breast and Oral cavity. The finding are significant in Gallbladder cancer, which is a leathal cancer. This indicates greater genetic instability in Gallbladder cancer.
