The phenomenon of partnership in any sector is now fast coming to be a more inclusive way of effectively delivering not only social services, but in general, quality services. The book hence provides some critical insights on developing such partnerships and collaborations in the health sector, particularly in developing countries, their designs, probable challenges and bottlenecks to watch out and finally the expected outputs or results. The book has drawn examples and lessons mainly from the Health sector Wide Approaches' experiences from Malawi and Zambia. It has further critically brought to light the key challenges in developing these partnerships in the sector as well as the way they can be taken care of while achieving the expected positive outputs. The role of partnership has been the key theme in the book and the suggested frameworks have provided such kind of an easy to follow but crucial models for the successful implementation and expected output delivery.
About the author
Sanderson Kuyeli is a health planner in the Ministry of Health in Malawi with enormous experience in developing countries health sector planning and resource mobilization. He is an economist from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College, and also a postgraduate of University of Bradford in the area of Public Policy and Programme Management.
