Jürgen Durner. Invisible

Jürgen Durner's paintings show us a world behind glass, in mirrors, refractions of light and reflections. By disrupting the usual perspective, he produces abstract scenes, reminiscent of fleeting images in dreams or nocturnal impressions.
Durner's new monograph brings together his works from the last five years. They revolve around one core theme: the attempt to make the invisible visible and tangible. Durner's mosaic of perspectives is reflected in a wealth of texts in a variety of forms and lengths, which illustrate how friends and artist colleagues view his work.
