The purpose of this book was to explore views of teachers and parents regarding school violence in Turkey. For the study, sity participants ideas were gathered from three different schools. After a large literature review of school violence in the world, the book explained perspectives of teachers and parents on definitions of school violence, causes and level of school violence in Turkish schools and lastly the book points out girl-on-girl psychological violence in Turkish schools that no previous studies have focused on violence among Turkish females in Turkey.This book will be useful for school violence literature especially for researchers whose interest is school violence in Turkey.

About the author










Dr. Aysun Do¿utä, finished her bachelor education at Education Faculty at Hacettepe University. She completed her master and doctorate degree at Educational Sciences Department at Kent State University (USA). Currently, she is working as an assisatnt professor at Educational Sciences Department at Agri Ibrahim Cecen University.
