The present work was considered to clarify the cytogenetic effects of two types of tobacco smoking (cigarette and shisha). Because urine of smoker is known to contain a mixture of toxic metabolites, so it was selected as a test material. The action of urine smokers was investigated on bone marrow cells of the Egyptian toad Bufo regularis . The author reached to the result that the shisha is more danger than cigarette.

Dr. Sahar Abd El-Razik Mosallam is an Egyptian Scientist staff member in Ain Shams University. She got her MSc. and PhD. in the Cytogenetics field. She published many papers in this field. She has got a promotion in genetics and she still working in this field.
