THE CHARLESTON JOURNEY: The Civil War ended and now the work of rebuilding both north and south had begun. Sheriff Cody Jackson and his wife, Heather, remained in Charleston, raising their children as well as Heather's siblings. Their first challenge was saying goodbye to Danny, who was finally heading to Illinois as a Bible College student. Soon after Danny's departure a new member to the family made her arrival. Yet even while enjoying the good things of life, the past suddenly found its way to Charleston.
Lawless men seeking wealth by robbing stages and banks, continued to challenge the offices of local law enforcement-including Charleston. As Cody sorted through a new stack of "Wanted Posters," he found himself staring at familiar eyes-eyes that mirrored his own.

Born in Cincinnati, OH Linda grew up in Saint Petersburg, FL. She met her husband, Randall when they attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. She and her husband have been in full-time ministry since 1972, serving on Church staff ministries as well as traveling in Evangelism. Currently, they are pastoring a church in Ocala, FL. To date, she has authored EIGHT titles, seven of which are in the Loud the Thunder Series.
