This study attempted to find out the differences between Polish and Japanese spending habits of the young people. This topic might be interesting not only for parents, who want to know about their children expanses, but also for the researchers and economists. There is no doubt, that young people are one of the biggest spenders, and that they are economically very active. The main findings of this study shows, that in Poland, parents cover 30% more of their children s monthly income than in Japanese. Moreover, data shows that Polish people spend higher percentage of the total income on rent, shopping, transportation, entertainment, alcohol, vacation and extra education. The results of this research give some insight into how teenagers and students spend their money in the two different countries in the world.
