Tongi, a sub urban area is well connected through its road network with Dhaka city and its surrounding area. It is now an attractive place for people to live for its ample employment opportunities and as well as better cities amenities. The number of population is increasing day-by-day and because of population growth, there is shortage of public services comparing with their demand. The focus of the study is to identify the disparity in the distribution of public facilities in different wards of the pourashava. In this study, the Location Quotient Method and Gini Coefficient Method are used for determining the deficiencies. Planning standard is another consideration for identifying the gap between demand and supply.
