The impact of medicinal plants and their isolated pure compounds is in variety of therapeutic areas but the major contribution is in the field of anticancer drug discovery. Our study focuses upon cancer, due to its high mortality rate, that is attributed in part to the lack of an effective chemotherapeutic agent.
