Teens in India thus have a family as an anchor as an institution that supports them to cope with alleges of transition to adulthood therefore, having a potent role in influencing teens.

Mom Mitra De obtained her PhD degree from Calcutta University in 2007 and is presently working on teen stress in India.Working as Assistant Professor in Education from 1999, is also an invited Lecturer in the Department of Education, Calcutta University from 2007 onwards. She has presented papers in two international conferences in Turkey and Dacca
