Sonophoresis is a process that exponentially increases the absorption of topical compounds into the epidermis, dermis and skin appendages by ultrasonic energy. A Transfersomes possess an infrastructure consisting of hydrophobic and hydrophilic moieties together and as a result can accommodate drug molecules with wide range of solubility.
