About the author

Robbin D. Knapp was born in 1959 in Denver, Colorado. After receiving a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Virginia, he joined the Peace Corps in Tanzania, where he met his wife. They raised two daughters in her native Austria, where he works as a software developer.
