While many public service organisations are still sticking to traditional operations, those that are innovative have demonstrated success. The book explores various types and methods of human resource development practices in relation to innovation and performance with validated world class practical experiences. The author unreservedly concludes that human resource development is vital for service delivery and productivity of an organisation; the more frequent and the higher the training the workers receive, the better the performance and innovation amongst the employees. The book provides hard hitting facts and answers in circumstances where the investment in human capital does not directly result into improved employeee innovation, improved productivity and organisational performance.
