Shorttitle :This book describes the results of STUDIES ON PREPARATION OF MESOPOROUS OXIDE MATERIALS BASED ON THE SOL-GEL PROCESS. This study has been focused on the synthetic process development, characterization and applications of novel mesoporous of nanostructured materials. Titania, sulfated-titania, titania-silica, titania- alumina, sulfated-titania-alumina powders were prepared through the sol-gel methods in combination with immersion in a surfactant solution before drying or a one-step synthesis by the sol-gel method followed by CO2 supercritical extraction.

Silvester Tursiloadi is Head of Division of Process and Catalysis Technology in the Research Center for Chemistry, the Indonesian Institute of Sciences. He has been an editor of Indonesian Journal of Applied Chemistry. His study in the field of applied chemistry, finished and get Doctor of Engineering from Keio University, Japan.
