His career is the result of a difficult apprenticeship and long experience. He finished his journalism studies in 1984 and treated himself to a sabbatical year. He went to Central America where he taught himself photography. In 1986 he began to travel regulary as a journalist, as a freelance reporter by Heraldo de Aragón newspaper. The recent concession of Spain¿s National Photography Award, which has recognised the work of a photojournalist for the first time.
