The 500 hidden secrets of Flanders Fields and the Belgian coast

English · Paperback / Softback

Description

Many people are planning to visit Ypres and Flanders Fields for the 100th anniversary of the First World War.
The aim of this guide is to take them beyond the obvious sights to discover the secret places they might otherwise miss.
The book doesn't mention every battle or military detail, yet highlights 120 places to discover the First World War like the 5 smallest cemeteries.
And includes places that are not in any way connected with the war, like the 5 most appealing country inns in French Flanders, the best cycle trips at the coast or the 5 most romantic beach lodgings.
The aim is to inspire, not to cover everything from A to Z.
