Seit über 50 Jahren gehört die Massenspektrometrie zu den wichtigsten analytischen Methoden. Neben einem technologiehistorischen Überblick konzentriert sich dieser Band auf die Analytik von Metallen und Elementen. Beschrieben werden Anwendungen aus der Meteorologie, Kerntechnik, Astrochemie, Geowissenschaft und Umwelttechnik.
