Informationen zum Autor WENSLEY CLARKSON has investigated numerous crimes across the world for the past thirty years. His research has included prison visits, surveillance operations, police raids and even post mortems. Clarkson's books - published in more than thirty countries - have sold more than two million copies. He has made numerous documentaries in the UK, US, Australia and Spain and written TV and movie screenplays. His most recent major TV project is Florida-based drama series Boca Grande which he created, developed and wrote with BAFTA award-winning Peaky Blinders director David Caffrey. Clarkson's recent book Sexy Beasts - about the Hatton Garden raid - was nominated for a Crime Writer's Association Dagger award. Zusammenfassung We like to think that childhood is a happy and secure period of one's life, but this collection of true stories is a sharp reminder that smashed childhoods are all to common. Both inspiring and desperately sad, Little Survivors is a heartbreaking collection of distressing memoirs. It recounts nine true stories that show some breathtaking bravery in the face of almost incomprehensible cruelty. In their own words, these survivors detail experiences which are hard to forgive and impossible to forget. All of them have shown remarkable courage by turing their lives around and now they offer a poignant insight into their darkest times, in the hope that others will recognise - and even avoid - the same appalling loss of innocence.
