Informationen zum Autor William Cross is an expert in political party organization and intra party democracy. He has published in many journals including Party Politics, Political Research Quarterly, Canadian Journal of Political Science and the Journal of Elections, Public Opinion and Parties. His earlier books include Rebuilding Canadian Party Politics (UBC Press 2000) and Political Parties (UBC Press 2004). He is Professor and Bell Chair in Canadian Parliamentary Democracy at Carleton University in Ottawa.André Blais is an expert in electoral systems and voting behaviour. He has published in many of the discipline's leading journals including Comparative Politics, European Journal of Political Research, Party Politics and the Journal of Politics. His many books include To Vote or not to Vote? The Merits and Limits of Rational Choice (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2000). He is a former President of the Canadian Political Science Association.
