Informationen zum Autor George Moberly (1803 - 1885) was an English cleric who was headmaster of Winchester College, and then served as Bishop of Salisbury from 1869 until his death. He was born in St Petersburg, Russia in 1803 and educated at Winchester College. He matriculated at Balliol College, Oxford, matriculating in 1822, and graduating B.A. 1825, and M.A. 1828. He was a Fellow of Balliol from 1826 to 1834. He was ordained deacon in 1826, and priest in 1828. Klappentext This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the original.
