Hoshino's Alaska

Michio Hoshino traveled from his native Japan to Alaska in 1972. Having found a deep affinity with the region, he returned to live in Alaska in 1978, undertaking a lifelong career as a naturalist and photographer. This book presents a collection of his best photographs, as well as a dozen short excerpts from his writing.
