About the author

Jan McFarlane is an Assistant Bishop in the Diocese of Lichfield and a Residentiary Canon of Lichfield Cathedral. A former Speech and Language Therapist, she has served as Bishop of Repton, Archdeacon of Norwich, Director of Communications, Chaplain to the Bishop of Norwich, Chaplain of Ely Cathedral and Curate in the Stafford Team Ministry. She has a life-long interest in communications.
