In addition to a PhD in Chemistry, he also holds a PhD in History. Lester L. Pesterfield is Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at Western Kentucky University. His research interests lie in lanthanide coordination chemistry and the development of pedagogical methods for all levels of chemistry.
