Sie lebt zusammen mit ihren Kindern und ihrem Mann, dem Psychologen und Bestsellerautor Jonathan Kellerman, in Los Angeles.

Jonathan Kellerman ist ein bekannter und erfolgreicher amerikanischen Kriminalautor. Nach dem Studium tätig zunächst als Kinderpsychologe mit zahlreichen Fachveröffentlichungen, ebenso von Kinderbüchern. Ausgezeichnet u. a. mit dem »Edgar-Alan-Poe-Award«, Amerikas bedeutendstem Krimi-Preis. Der Autor lebt mit seiner Familie in L.A.
