Michael B. Graham, PhD, is adjunct professor of history, security and global studies at American Military University, Charles Town, West Virginia. He is senior vice-president for management and chief financial officer at the United States Institute of Peace, Washington, D.C. He has contributed to or written numerous titles on military history. He is a graduate of numerous institutions of higher learning including the Air War College, Naval War College and the Foreign Service Institute, among many others.
