Fatma Herrmann verknüpft in ihrer Analyse interkulturelle Erwachsenenbildung mit zeitgenössischer Kunst als Interaktionsgegenstand und Katalysator der interkulturellen Interaktion zwischen Deutschen und MigrantInnen. Sie ersetzt Interaktionsmodelle, die Sprache als alleinige Mitteilungsart in der interpersonellen Interaktion zugrunde legen, durch ein Partizipatives Handlungsmodell. Dieses Modell bietet über eine bildhaft-präverbale Mitteilungsart (künstlerische Gestaltung) eine Interaktionsform für MigrantInnen mit eingeschränkter Sprachkompetenz und ermöglicht eine wechselseitige Verständigung mit deutschen TeilnehmerInnen in gegenseitiger Anerkennung.
