Zusatztext My children love books that are interactive as well as being informative and 'How the World Began..and What Happened After That!' is definitely both of these. Written by Christiane Dorion and Beverley Young it is also beautifully put together and caused a couple of gasp-out-loud moments from my 7-year-old - for example! upon learning we were all made from stars. The book takes the reader from the start of the Universe and how it all began - through to early civilisations and how humans adapted to their growing knowledge. It is all delivered with some great interactive techniques including pop-ups! flaps and even some great pieces that you can take out to show how the skeletons of early humans changed from those of monkeys. It poses some really interesting questions and gets children thinking about the world and how we look after it. I'm often asked questions about how life started by my children and what the earth is made up of and this is a great book to be able to turn to and learn some more. I love how it also poses the future of the planet! and how we might adapt to the need to look after our world. This is a great book for 7-12 year olds with inquiring minds. 'How the World Began' is written by Christiane Dorion and Beverley Young and published by Templar. Informationen zum Autor I am a freelance Artist/Illustrator living and working in Cornwall.
