Informationen zum Autor Ellen Gormley has been crocheting for 12 years. She enjoys crocheting afghans, accessories, and tote bags. Gormley is a member of the Southwest Ohio Crochet Guild and is a licensed clinical counselor. She and her husband, Tom, have two children. Klappentext This book includes 48 motifs and 4 designs. The motifs are squares or hexagons that can be tiled together to make a fabric. The designer has also included half motifs which keeps the integrity of the design, but is only a piece of the motif. These are used as fill-ins that neatly fill in the spaces and add shape. They give you more flexibility when building a project. Motifs can be a complete project, like a coaster or washcloth. Add a few together to make a scarf or a place mat. By stitching many motifs together, you can make a wrap, or an afghan. The designs that can be made using motifs are limitless. As an extra bonus, we have included symbol crochet for each motif and design. The four designs include a scarf, hat, cowl and a blanket.
