TRAUMATISME -LE-

Choc inattendu, non préparé et écrasant, qui agit comme un anesthésique, le traumatisme a des effets destructeurs. Pour lui survivre, le psychisme développe des stratégies. L'une des plus intéressantes est le dédoublement: une partie de la personne continue de vivre et de se développer, tandis qu'une autre partie subsiste, apparemment détruite, mais prête à se réactiver à la première occasion...
Dans les années 1920 et 1930, à Vienne, à Berlin, et même aux États-Unis, les psychanalystes confrontés à un échec avec un patient, en particulier victime d'un traumatisme, l'envoyaient à Budapest, auprès de Sandor Ferenczi, qui avait la réputation d'accueillir les cas les plus difficiles. Celui-ci en tira des réflexions d'une très grande richesse, sur lesquelles repose la conception que nous avons aujourd'hui du traumatisme et des moyens de le soigner.
