About the author

Author, Patricia Fisher, was born in Denver, Colorado in 1948. All through her difficult youth, her mom taught her to appreciate the little things in life. Patricia knew what a relief humor was at an early age, and she still makes up dumb jokes to this day. She says that she mainly learned what not to do from her parents' example. In 1973 she married a wonderful man named Dennis. Pat and Dennis have been married 35 years and they wonder if their marriage will last... (smile) One thing the two have always agreed on is the wonderful world of camping. Since married people don't always agree, they jumped at the chance to begin hosting at various campgrounds. They sold their home and are on their fourth year of helping people have fun. Guess what! They realized that they are happier than they have ever been! Patricia and Dennis have produced a wonderful book entitled "Home Is Where We Park It." The title is true for them, as their home is indeed now on wheels! As Patricia would say, "Home Sweet Motor Home. How sweet it is!"
