Informationen zum Autor Andrea Veltman is Associate Professor of Philosophy at James Madison University. She works in ethical and political philosophy with a current research focus on labor and work. In addition to publishing articles in feminist ethics and in the history of philosophy, she has edited Social and Political Philosophy (Oxford) and co-edited "Oppression and Moral Agency" (Special Issue of Hypatia) and Evil, Political Violence and Forgiveness (Rowman & Littlefield).Mark Piper is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at James Madison University. His principal research interests are in normative ethical theory, with a special concentration on the topics of autonomy and well-being. He also has interests in applied ethics and metaethics. He has published articles in numerous anthologies and American and European journals, and is the author of "Autonomy: Normative" in the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy.
