About the author

Dave Richards, a keen photographer, is a safari guide and camp manager and has led wildlife safaris in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Botswana, Madagascar, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Dave has written a number of travel and wildlife guidebooks. He regularly contributes articles and photographs to local and international magazines and books. Dave lives with his wife in the Nairobi suburb, Karen.
