Reissued here in its 1837 English translation, this work by Wilhelm August Graah (1793–1863) recounts the harrowing 1828–31 Danish attempt to find lost Norse settlements on the coast of Greenland. Complementing his account of the expedition, Graah includes a brief history of the exploration and colonisation of Greenland.
