Instead of asking "Is there a God?' one should ask "What do I need to do to find God within myself?" This approach shifts the focus from looking for answers outside oneself to looking within.
Bô Yin Râ's purpose is to guide the reader onto the surest path to reaching "the highest good": the conscious rediscovery of our timeless spiritual nature-and away from misleading byways. In pursuing that goal, one should commit wholeheartedly to the journey and pay attention to moments of remembrance and "mysterious longing" for our "timeless home." One must cultivate an inner silence and refrain from diluting the sanctity of the inner journey by speaking of it too freely to others.
Bô Yin Râ emphasizes that truth is not a statement but, rather, an inner experience that is gained gradually as we change our inner being and ready it to receive the ultimate truth of the Living God within.
