A bright and cheerful story full of animals and farmyard fun

About the author

Nannie Kuiper writes and translates books for young children. She has taught courses and written articles on the subject of child development. She has published many poems for children and has translated the poetry of A.A. Milne (Winnie the Pooh) and C.M. Barker (The Flower Fairies). Alex de Wolf was born in 1958 just south of Amsterdam. A lifelong fan of the Tintin comics, he always intended to become a comic book writer. He studied illustration at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. He is married to publisher Martine Schaap, whose name he found irresistible (his name means 'wolf', hers 'sheep'). As well as illustrating many books for children, his dream finally came true when an American magazine publisher asked him to create the comic strip 'Mop and Family'.
