About the author
Augie Hand (Longmont, CO)had 30 years hands-on experience in repairing and troubleshooting motors, followed by 15 years of giving seminars on the subject for electric motor repair shop technicians and in-house training for large industry maintenance technicians. He owned an electric motor repair shop for a number of years, and he taught the electric motor repair course at Southwestern Technical Institute. He is the co-author of Electric Motor Repair, considered the "Bible" of the industry.
