The chemistry C=N is studied widely because of its high synthesis elasticity, varied coordinating capability and medicinal convenience. The Compounds containing C=N include mainly the products of reaction between aldehyde or ketonic components and primary aliphatic or aromatic amines, ammonia, hydrazine, N-phenylhydrazine, hydroxylamine hydrochloride, semicarbazide, thiosemicarbazide and their substituted derivatives. Aryl Amino Methyl Derivatives have in recent times assumed greater significance in view of the fact that several of them have been found to be biologically active and have found uses in biology, medicine as well as in industry. They have been widely used in pigments and dyes, photographic emulsions, heart resistant polymers, high temperaturestabilizers, lubricating oils, antiknockingagents anticorrosive agents, and liquid crystal display composition. They also havebeen used as antibacterials, antivirals, antifungals, antitumors, insecticides, antihelmintics and antiemetcs.
