About the author

Professor B.B. Lee, MD PhD FACS is currently Professor of Surgery at the Georgetown University, Washington DC, devoting his time to the issue of Vein, Lymphatic, and Vascular Malformation. He is also Clinical Professor and Consultant to Walter Reed Army Medical Center to train young colleagues.He is a Distinguished Fellow at the Society for Vascular Surgery in the US, and has been elected into both honorary and emeritus positions at many phlebology and lymphology societies throughout the world. He is Vice President of International Union of Phlebology and is Chairman of the Membership Committee for the International Society of Vascular Surgery. He is currently serving as one of the directors for the American Board of Phlebology, a group committed to establishing this new specialty throughout the country.
