About the author










Dr. Gielo-Perczak crosses the boundaries of many scientific approaches. Her research interests are modelling and simulation of the musculoskeletal system, shoulder complex, control theory and the systems approach seen in the context of preventing musculoskeletal injuries and improving through combining these approaches, a biomedical device design. Dr. Gielo-Perczak is an author of 22 refereed original journal, 51 proceeding articles and abstracts, and 7 chapters and reviews. Dr.Gielo-Perczak has been a Biomch-L Forum co-moderator since 1991. Over the last 4 years Dr.Gielo-Perczak served as a member of the Executive Council of the International Society of Biomechanics. Currently, she serves as a chair of The Individual Differences in Performance Technical Group in Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. Dr. Gielo-Perczak is as a member of the Editorial Board of Theoretical Issues in Ergonomics Science and a Consulting Editor for Occupational Ergonomics.
