qui tient du journal intime, est le livre-testament
de Ferenczi. Écrit entre janvier et octobre 1932,
quelques mois avant sa mort, parcouru de fulgurances
théoriques et thérapeutiques, il contient tous
les thèmes qui rendent ce psychanalyste - l'un des
plus novateurs et créatifs de l'histoire - si actuel,
notamment le traumatisme, l'enfant dans l'adulte,
le masochisme, les addictions... Avec à chaque
fois une telle empathie, une telle humanité qu'on
peut dire que Ferenczi fut probablement celui qui
introduisit la bienveillance dans la psychanalyse.
