About the author
Mhairi McFarlane wurde 1976 in Schottland geboren. Ihre geographischen Lebensdaten in Kurzform lauten Falkirk Afrika Milton Keynes Nottingham und entsprechen in etwa dem Weg, den ein Designerkleidungsstück zurücklegt, bevor es in einem Laden zur Ruhe kommt. Mhairis Ruhepol ist in Nottingham, wo sie mit einem Mann und einer Katze lebt. Bevor sie sich dort niederließ und als Journalistin arbeitete, studierte sie an der Universität Manchester. Mhairi kennt den Ort, an dem Rachel und Ben sich kennenlernen, also wie ihre Westentasche.
